Gross Ile, Michigan native and current San Diego resident, Cortney Reno, is the new breed of golf gals that is taking the green by storm. She's a former University of Michigan star who is now headed to the big leagues...that's LPGA for you new folks.
Cortney has competed in some of the world's most exciting tournaments and even competed in the Singapore Masters. When she isn't playing in her band, Soundtrack for Life, you'll probably find her competing in events in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong--she's global peeps. And this chick with a stick not only brings talent to the green, but an edge and style that is refreshing and so so fly. Cortney's a member of the Duramed Futures Tour promo team, and the recipient of Jocelyn Bourassa Award and the BMO Ladies Canadian Tour Player of the Year.

There's a lot more to this future-golf-star-rocker-girl than just a pretty face with a talent for golf. Golf is her passion, although, it's her drive and determination that's gonna make her a household name. Cortney Reno is the new face of ladies golf and she's got the skills and swagger to prove it. SCHWING!!!!

This has to be a joke!
Reno was not a U OF M golf star.
She has never been a member of the LPGA tour.
She is not a current 2009 member of the Duramed Future's tour.
Fabrications!
Great article Jennifer!
Cortney's pizazz and focus is sure to attract more eyeballs to the sport!
